The Office of Sponsored Research is pleased to host a seminar series addressing multiple facets of intellectual property. These will take the form of timely interactive presentations with specialists in their respective fields of practice.
McGill is proud of its standing as a world-class research-intensive university. The aim of this outreach initiative is to ensure that our researchers and academic community at large continue to be apprised of intellectually property trends and best practices in a university environment.
The speaker for this first seminar will be John DiMaio, Intellectual Property Development Officer at the Office of Sponsored Research, who will address intellectual property and innovation, policies and practices in the university setting and relevance to knowledge based economies. This seminar series is open to faculty staff and students.
