In November 2013, innovation will be on display as we celebrate the inquisitive spirit at McGill University, the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), and Montreal's Quartier de l'innovation (QI). As part of the festivities, we invite you to join us for lunch, meet a wide range of Montreal’s social innovators and entrepreneurs, and drop in on a series of free public talks ranging from community engagement to sustainable business.

Talks will include:

  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation: a True Story (10 minutes)

  • Sustainable Business Models: BCorp (10 minutes)
    Speaker: Ms. Natalie Voland from Quo Vadis
  • Innovative Funding Methods (10 minutes)
    Speaker: Mr. Perry Niro from Finanso
  • Community Engagement in Innovation (10 minutes)
    Speaker: Mr. Claude Faribault from LivingLab Montreal
  • How to flourish entrepreneurship on Campus (10 minutes)
    Speaker: Mr. Emir Aydin from McGill’s Entrepreneurs Society
  • What is innovation anyways? An open discussion with our speakers and public on innovation and how to promote it (30 minutes)
    Speakers: Prof. Michael Avedesian, Ms. Christine Renaud, Ms. Nathalie Voland, Mr. Perry Niro, Mr. Claude Faribault  and Mr. Stéphane Dupupet from Réso
