Stem cell transplant: an important treatment option for patients with blood cancers

If you are a stem cell transplant patient, a potential stem cell transplant recipient, a donor, caregiver or family member, this lecture is for you! Health care workers are also welcome.

Dr. Gizelle Popardi, Director of the MUHC Stem Cell Transplant Program, will discuss stem cell transplant, the different options available to patients, and the benefits and complications of this treatment. Stem cell transplant recipients will also be present to share their personal stories.

A question period will follow the presentations and members of the stem cell transplant team will be present to answer questions.

Presentations are in English; questions are welcome in French and English.

This lecture will take place in the RI Auditorium (E S1.1129), Glen site, 1001 boul Decarie, Montreal.

Free admission and free parking at the MUHC’s Glen site.
