IAM First Student Support Circle

It will be a gathering for new and veteran students to meet each other over iced tea (I can’t bear to make coffee in this heat so BYOC if you are a coffee-holic) and dessert goodies, take the pulse of your first week of classes and fieldwork for some, talk about your hopes for the coming year and just be with fellow Indigenous students. We’ll also tell you more about what IAM does and highlight some McGill events like First Peoples’ House Pow-Wow on campus Sept 19 and hopefully we’ll have some of our team and School of Social Work staff drop in to say welcome (1:00 – 1:15). We hope you are settling in to life at McGill, meeting people and finding your classes stimulating; we look forward to bringing the circle together tomorrow.
