The upcoming Hughlings Jackson Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Alex Leo Kolodkin, Professor of Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA. Dr. Kolodkin’s lecture entitled "Wiring up the nervous system: mechanisms and molecules" will take place on December 13th at 4 pm in the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre of the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital.

Established in 1935, the Hughlings Jackson Lecture is the MNI’s premier scientific lecture. It honors the legacy of British neurologist John Hughlings Jackson (1835-1911) who pioneered the development of neurology as a medical specialty.

A reception will follow in the Helen Penfield Atrium of the de Grandpre Communications Centre.
