How Urban Environments can Promote or Impede Active Living
You are invited to a conversation with Dr. James Sallis, winner of the 2012 Bloomberg Manulife Prize.
Dr. James Sallis, renowned behavioural psychologist and Distinguished Professor of Family & Preventive Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, will join a panel to discuss the results of his research on how the layout of our cities and neighbourhoods influences how we exercise, and what each of us can do to stay active and help promote healthier city planning, no matter where we live.
Don’t miss this engaging – and important – discussion, featuring a compelling message that could lead to a longer, happier life.
A brown-bag lunch will be provided. Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
To register, please send an rsvpeducationelu [dot] alumni [at] mcgill [dot] ca (email), or phone 514 398-1248.
