For the first time in history, four generations are working together in corporations across North America. Differences in professional priorities, approaches and standards inevitably give rise to workplace conflicts. How are professional goals and expectations changing? What are the most effective responses to generational tension? How are organizations evolving to meet these challenges? A McGill management expert will discuss the way to do business in an increasingly diverse office environment.

Suzanne Gagnon joined McGill’s Desautels Faculty of Management in July 2000. She lectures on organizational behaviour, crosscultural management and human resources in the BCom and MBA programs. Her widely published research focuses on international human resources and workplace diversity, and she is currently completing an innovative study of identity and corporate leadership development initiatives in global firms. She sits on the advisory committee of the Faculty’s Teaching Executives Program and the executive committee of the International Management Consortium. She also works with promising student leaders as part of the Organizational Behaviour Course Counsellors program.

Please note that online registration is available until September 16, 2008. After this date, only phone, fax and mailed-in registrations will be processed.
