Guy Berthiaume
President and CEO
Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec

Guy Berthiaume took up the position of President and CEO of Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Quebec in June 2009. A native of Montreal, he is a historian of classical antiquity, having completed his Doctorate in Paris in 1976, an M.A., from Université de Laval in 1973 and a B.A. from UQAM in 1972. Guy Berthiaume has had an extensive career in university administration with posts at UQAM and Université de Montreal. His most recent post before joining BAnQ was as Vice President of Research at UQAM.
