Dr. Carla Pugh Lecture - "Assumptions of an Educator: Potential Pitfalls during Simulation Design and Implementation" - McGill Medical Simulation Centre

On Thursday, September 17th, the fourth annual Flanders Family Visiting Professor in Medical Simulation will take place, featuring Dr. Carla Pugh of Northwestern University.

Dr. Pugh will present two lectures on simulation throughout the course of the morning. The main lecture, entitled, "The Use of Simulation for Assessment: Surgical Education and Training Reconsidered", will begin at 7:30am in the Sir William Osler Amphitheatre, at the Montreal General Hospital, 6th Floor Cedar Entrance, A6.105.

The second lecture, entitled, "Assumptions of an Educator: Potential Pitfalls during Simulation Design and Implementation", will begin at 9:30 am at the McGill Medical Simulation Centre.

Following Dr. Pugh's second lecture, there will be research presentations by residents, fellows and faculty from Anesthesia, Pediatrics, Medicine and Surgery.
