Save the Date: Community Engagement Day 2015

McGill’s Social Equity and Diversity Education Office (SEDE) is hosting its 4th annual Community Engagement Day (CED) on and around October 1st, 2015! CED presents students, faculty, and staff with an opportunity to engage with the broader Montreal community by offering over 40 projects, workshops, and public conversations co-created with community organizations.

Register for a Project!
This year, CED is offering over 30 projects, ranging from workshops to public conversations to volunteering opportunities. A full list of Community Engagement Day projects can be found on our website, where you can find out more information and register to participate. We are working to provide accurate information about the accessibility of each project, which can be found on our website. Please do not hesitate to let us know of any additional accessibility needs you may have.

Become a Project Facilitator!
If you are interested in being involved with CED, we are currently looking for project facilitators for each activity. The facilitator’s role is to take the participants to their projects and provide them with any materials they may need, make sure the project runs smoothly, and then facilitate a critical reflection and discussion period once the project is completed. Training is provide on September 11th or 17th. If you have further questions, or would like to facilitate a project, please email the address below.
