McGill welcomes 50 wordy students from across Canada as they converge on Moyse Hall for the 2009 Canwest Canspell National Spelling Bee.
Drawn from 250,000 participants nationwide, the 50 finalists will compete for a ticket to the finals in Ottawa, where the winner will earn $15,000. Sponsors include Canwest Media, Canada Post, Air Canada and the Egg Farmers of Canada.
