McGill’s rise to international prominence over the past 190 years is a tale of scholars, benefactors, and builders. Peter McNally, Director of the History of McGill Project, will speak about James McGill, William Dawson, William Macdonald, and Ernest Rutherford. Chris Lyons, Acting Head, Osler Library of the History of Medicine, will talk about William Osler, Maude Abbott and Wilder Penfield.
