Are you interested in student health, wellness and education? Are you looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and volunteer?

Become a Peer Health Educator and make an impact on the health and well-being of your fellow McGill students! Choose your area of interest and get involved!

Which topic do you want to promote?

  • Eating Well and Exercise
  • Drug/Alcohol education
  • Balance and Mental Wellness
  • Sexual Health and Healthy Relationships

Each of these teams works around campus to:

  • Provide events on these topics (fairs, information kiosks, film screenings)
  • Animate activities and provide information to students
  • Promote these events and services around campus
  • Create and design resources, displays, write articles for the Student Body and our tumblr.
  • Produce and edit videos for our Youtube channels.

All Peer Health Educators are expected to:

  • Dedicate 3 hours/week from late August 2012 to early April 2013 to their team
  • Attend a mandatory 1-hour orientation session in early April (date/location TBC)
  • Attend a mandatory 2-day training session on campus at the end of August/early September
  • Attend a mandatory 1-day training session in early January 2013

Whether you are interested writing content, talking to students face-to-face, or helping with event organizing and promotion, we have the opportunity for you!
