McGill Homecoming 2012, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education and the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, invites you to exercise your mind at this year's Beatty Memorial Lecture by renowned health researcher Dr. Kerry Courneya.

The Canada Research Chair in Physical Activity and Cancer and a professor in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta, Dr. Courneya is a world expert on how physical activity can help prevent and control cancer. He is reimagining cancer treatment by including physical activity as part of standard care.

McGill's physical education program began in 1912, and Dr. Courneya's Beatty Lecture is the high point of our year-long celebration of this historic centennial.
