This season Coach Smith’s high-flying McGill Martlets accomplished one of the rarest feats in organized sports: the perfect season. With a lot of talent, even more hard work and a modicum of good luck, the squad went a spotless 25-0 to win the program’s first national championship. Smith, who was assistant coach with the women’s team that won gold in Torino, now has his sights set on 2010 in Vancouver. Learn what the past season has taught him and how he plans to earn hockey gold again.
