Join us to hear MISC Fulbright Student Award Recipient
Cam Terwilliger, and visiting poet, Dan Albergotti, discuss and read from their new creative work. Terwilliger will share from his Fulbright project, Yet Wilderness Grew in My Heart, a historical novel set in New York and Québec during the Seven Years War. Meanwhile, Albergotti will read a selection from his poetry collection, Millennial Teeth, the forthcoming winner of the Crab Orchard Series Poetry Open Competition, to be published by Southern Illinois University Press.
Following these readings, at 12:30 p.m. the Canadian Studies Arts Undergraduate students will celebrate the end of the term and launch the 2014 edition of their journal, Canadian Content, in the downstairs MISC reading room. Light refreshments will be served, and both events are free and open to the public. You can learn more about this event here.
While the public is welcome to attend both events, they are also welcome to attend only one or the other.
Register for one or both events at misc.iecm [at] mcgill.ca.
