Stop and smell the flowers with your fellow McGill grads!

Join area alumni for an afternoon at the world-famous New York Botanical Garden. We will be treated to a guided tour of the visiting exhibition, The Art of the Japanese Chrysanthemum. Admission includes the flower show, the accompanying art display "The Chrysanthemum in Japanese Art," and a special look at the unusual Japanese trees found throughout the Garden grounds.

After the tour, McGill grads will sprout up in the Garden Café for a little socializing. Food and drinks can be purchased in the café. With a little sustenance in your stomach, you can then continue to explore the Garden for the rest of the afternoon.

The group will meet at 11:45 am outside the Conservatory Gate, which is the Garden’s main entrance. If you arrive at the Mosholu Gate/Metro-North entrance, tell the guards that you are taking a guided tour with "McGill University alumni." They will then direct you to the Conservatory Gate entrance.

Cost: General: $23 US

Parking: $12 US
