Alumni Association of Atlanta presents "Botanical Gardens"
Stop and smell the flowers with alumni, family and
friends.
The McGill Alumni Association of Atlanta cordially invites you to a
fun-filled and family-friendly afternoon at the Atlanta Botanical
Gardens.
The Gardens are hosting "Moore in America," a rare opportunity to
see 20 monumental sculptures by the legendary Henry Moore. There
will also be planned artistic activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as
part of “The Big Draw,” including featured artists, sidewalk chalk
drawings, demonstrations and much more.
We’ll meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Gardens’ admissions entrance in the
lobby of its new visitor center. Once we gather, we will proceed to
one of the “Big Draw” activities. Then, at noon, we’ll head to the
refreshment area for lunch. Although no food is allowed inside the
Gardens, the Sun in My Belly Cafe has sandwiches, salads, snacks,
and a children’s menu. After lunch, we can play and chat in the
Children’s Garden or tour the rest of the park as we please.
You are responsible for purchasing your own tickets.
