WiFi certificate changes - DigiCert replaces Thawte

Thawte, the company that provided digital signatures for many of McGill’s services, including Wifi, was recently acquired by DigiCert. As a consequence, certificates that were previously signed by “Thawte Primary Root CA – G3” are now being signed by “DigiCert Global Root G2

If you are experiencing problems connecting to McGill’s Wireless network, you may need to reset the properties of your WiFi connection to select DigiCert Global Root G2 certificate. Instructions and screenshots will be updated for all WiFi articles the IT Knowledge Base soon.
