Welcome to Hélène Laurin, CIRM's new Communications Supervisor

The CIRM team welcomes Hélène Laurin to the position of Communications Supervisor.

Hélène Laurin has the perfect background for her arrival at CIRM. Her specialty is communication and disseminating knowledge in a concise, rigorous and humorous way. Versatile, she has worked as a web content producer, documentary researcher and writer, television producer and podcast host. She also holds a PhD in Communication Studies from McGill University, where she analyzed the discursive processes of legitimation in the autobiographies of the band Mötley Crüe. In her spare time, she rides her bike around Montreal, trains on her indoor rowing machine and plays air guitar.
