Construction will soon begin on McGill’s new Rossy Student Wellness Hub. The third floor of the Brown Building will be renovated to provide a “one-stop shop” for all of Student Services’ health-related activities.
Because the current Student Health Service will need to be renovated, services will be relocated during construction. Beginning on Monday, October 15th, the front desk for the Student Health Service will be located in Room 3100 in the East Wing of the Brown Building (directly in front of Scholarships and Student Aid).
Because of the equipment and personnel that must be relocated and reinstalled, a temporary closure of the Student Health Service is necessary. The Clinic, including drop-ins, lab services and pre-booked appointments, will be closed completely from Tuesday, October 9 to Friday, October 12. The Clinic will re-open in its new location on Monday, October 15th.
Construction will continue until late Spring 2019, when the clinic will return to its newly renovated home. We will keep provide the latest updates and information pertaining to the Hub via the Student Services website. We are committed to keeping you informed of all the latest developments as we take this important step toward improving our capacity to support students’ health and wellness.
As always, students needing emergency care should call 911, contact Security Services or go to an emergency room.
