From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. SIS is pleased to announce PhD candidate Muhe Yang as FRQNT recipient.

Congratulations to Muhe Yang, PhD in Information Studies student at the School of Information Studies (McGill University), has received a Fonds de Recherche du Quebec; Nature et Technologies scholarship, for their research (French/English): Soutenir l'activité physique à un âge avancé : Co-conception de technologies de promotion de l'activité / Supporting Physical Activity in Later Life: Co-Design of Activity Promoting Technologies.

The FRQNT scholarship is awarded on basis of research and academic merit.

Muhe Yang was also awarded a Wolfe Chair fellowship in April.
