Schulich Kudos for 2026!
This year Schulich alumni and faculty have been honoured in the 68th Grammy Awards, the 77th Emmy Awards, and the 29th Annual Prix Opus! Several alumni also received nominations for the 55th JUNO Awards, held on March 28, 2026. Congratulations to all the awardees and nominees!
The Grammy Awards honours outstanding achievements in the music industry, recognizing artists, producers, and professionals across various music genres. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious awards in the music industry worldwide.
The Emmy Awards are the highlight of the television industry’s calendar. In addition to awarding screen stars, the event honours music technicians, composers, and performers for their contributions to the industry.
The Prix Opus was created in 1996 by the Conseil québécois de la musique (CQM) to highlight the excellence, vitality, and diversity of Québec’s thriving music scene and to celebrate artists within the community. The awards highlight outstanding achievements in concert music, compositions, productions, and recordings.
The JUNO Awards celebrates the best in Canadian music in over 50 diverse categories. Founded by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), the JUNOS have been shining the spotlight on local and international talent for over five decades.
