Members of Schulich’s community were recently interviewed to discuss their perspectives on how COVID-19 is influencing music, performance, and education.

Making Do: Student Perspectives on Remote Learning

In the first, Sarah Dufresne, Jonah Spungin, and Ian Sabourin give their perspectives on how the pandemic has resulted in major changes for schools and young artist programs. Though initially shocked by the sudden closures and uneasy on how to continue, all three have been impressed with the digital alternatives available to young singers and look forward to seeing how musicians, organizations, and schools will evolve over time.
