From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

RESOLVED: Service disruption: Inbound telephone calls

This issue has been resolved.

McGill's telephone services are currently experiencing an unexpected outage affecting inbound calls. Please note that outbound calls are operating normally at this time.

This issue is a result of planned maintenance work conducted by Bell Canada. While no downtime was expected during this maintenance, an unforeseen complication has disrupted our inbound call services.

Our technical teams are actively working in collaboration with Bell Canada to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We recommend email or other digital communication methods for urgent matters until the issue is resolved.

We will keep you updated as more information becomes available and notify you once full service is restored.
