New scholarship honours Devon Haye

A new scholarship has been launched in honour of Devon Haye (BCom’20), who passed away after a long and courageous battle with lymphatic cancer.

From working alongside underserved communities in Canada and South Africa to launching his own web design business, Devon was passionate about leveraging business to make the world a brighter place. In his memory, the Haye family has generously funded The Devon Anthony Haye Social Impact Scholarship, which will be awarded annually to a Bachelor of Commerce student on the basis of academic merit, demonstrated strong leadership qualities, and a drive to make this world better — in other words, to someone who is a little like Devon.
