New CIRM members for 2021

As approved by its Board of Directors, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montréal (CIRM) recently welcomed five new members:

• Nathalie Boucher — Director and Researcher, R.Es.P.I.R.E.; research interests: cities, public space, water, sociability and socialization, methodology, Indigenous studies, immigration.
• Thara Charland — Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of French-Language Literatures, Translation and Creative Writing, McGill University; research interests: 20^th and 21^st century Quebec literature, research-creation practices and theories, comic book theories, place studies, literary and intellectual filiations, literary history
• Jill Hanley — Full Professor, School of Social Work, McGill University; research interests: immigration policy, labour law, social housing, health, community organizing (neighbourhood associations, anti-poverty, immigration, labour), community economic development.
• Solange Lefebvre — Full Professor, Institute of Religious Studies, Université de Montréal; research interests: management of cultural and religious diversity, reasonable accommodation, secularization and laicity, youth and spirituality, value, generational relations.
• Nathan McClintock — Associate Research Professor, Centre Urbanisation Culture Société, Institut national de la recherche scientifique; research interests: critical geography, urban agriculture and food systems, green gentrification, urban environmental governance and policy, environmental justice.
  Also noteworthy is the renewal of the status of Researcher in Residence of Mary Anne Poutanen (Québec Studies, McGill University).
