Nancy Heath's Advice for Parents

James McGill Professor, Faculty of Education Associate Dean of Research and Innovation, and recently appointed Interim Chair for the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, Dr. Nancy Heath has been actively involved with the inner workings of our institution but also as an internationally renowned researcher in the field of mental health. Nancy recently co-authored an Op-Ed piece for the Montreal Gazette entitled "Finding Parenting Tough These Days? You're Not Alone" advocating self-care and self-compassion as key elements to coping. Nancy was also featured in The Globe and Mail, commenting on anxiety related to Quebec schools reopening in May. Nancy was interviewed for the video, Student Mental Health: Voices on Campus which was featured on Psychology Today's website.
