The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce it was once again ranked among the world’s top universities at which to study law by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The 2022 QS World University Rankings by Subject in Law and Legal Studies placed McGill Law 31st worldwide.

Since QS introduced the ranking in 2011, the Faculty of Law has consistently placed in the top 35 institutions globally. The QS ranking is based on academic reputation, employer reputation, H-index citations, and citations per paper.

“I am thrilled to see our faculty recognized once again as one of the best places in the world to study law,” said Dean Robert Leckey. “McGill Law inspires legal leadership for global challenges on the part of our remarkable students, professors, and worldwide alumni network.”
