Published: 14 December 2020

Congratulations to KPE's Yasmine Coovadia, M.Sc., for receiving a Dean's Excellence Fellowship!

At the start of 2020, a new funding opportunity was developed by the Dean’s Office to recruit high-caliber PhD students. Each Department was granted a multi-year fellowship package, each totaling $55,000, to be awarded to incoming doctoral students.

The fellowship is awarded to selected applicants to the Faculty’s PhD programs, based strictly on academic merit, for a total duration of up to 3 years. Candidates are considered by their Department during the PhD application process.

Yasmine’s PhD Research Title is “The effect of sex and menopause on dynamic neurovascular transduction”.

Yasmine Coovadia is with the CHARLab under Dr. Charlotte Usselman's supervision.
