These vulnerabilities have only been exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In this article, Max Bell MPP candidate Kayli Avveduti argues that economic reconciliation in the form of a Universal Basic Income could be a policy solution that pulls First Nations children and families out of poverty.
