Hani Sadati, DISE, Wins Bronze in 2021 Serious Play Conference for PhD Project

The serious game, Mela, which was developed as part of Hani Sadati's PhD project won a Bronze medal in the 2021 Serious Play Conference (in Digital Games Created by Students category).

Mela aims to contribute to the capacity building of Ethiopian agriculture college instructors to combat sexual and gender-based violence on their campuses.

Hani was a DISE Ph.D. student and defended his thesis in August 2021. He is also the co-founder and coordinator of the Games and Gamification for Human Development & Well-being (GHDW) Working Group, an assembly within the Institute for Human Development and Well-being (IHDW) at the Faculty of Education.
