Vincent Rigby, Slater Family Professor of Practice, Max Bell School of Public Policy

“We are at a critical juncture in the war, with Russia starting to make important gains on the battlefield. The West, including Canada, needs to provide Ukraine with consistent, long-term military assistance to ensure Moscow does not emerge victorious.”

Vincent Rigby is the Slater Family Professor of Practice in the Max Bell School of Public Policy. He recently retired from Canada’s Public Service after 30 years in a variety of departments and agencies across government. His last position was as National Security and Intelligence Advisor to the Prime Minister from 2020 to 2021.
