Dr. Samara Zavalkoff Awarded FMSQ Prix Marthe-Pelland

Congratulations to Dr. Samara Zavalkoff, Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, on receiving the Prix Marthe-Pelland from the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec (FMSQ). The Prix Marthe-Palland is awarded to someone in the first ten years of their career. To quote the FMSQ this prize given in conjunction with International Women’s Day is to: concrétisait sa volonté d’encourager les femmes médecins à joindre les affaires associatives et publiques ou encore à occuper des postes de gestion dans le milieu de la santé.
