Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina Awarded $2.5 million SSHRC Partnership Grant

Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina has been awarded a $2.5 million SSHRC Partnership grant over 7 years to set up and run the Canadian Consortium on Child Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care. This Partnership unites 39 co-applicants, 18 collaborators, and 43 partner organizations from across Canada. This consortium aims to improve the quality of life and trajectories of trauma-impacted children and youth by expanding social responses to child trauma across provinces, linguistic and service sectors, disciplines, and mandates.

Dr. Collin-Vézina holds the Department of Pediatrics’ Nicolas Steinmetz and Gilles Julien Chair in Social Pediatrics in the Community and is an Associate Member of the Division of General Pediatrics.
