Dr. Carol L. Richards, SPOT Alumna, presented Ordre National du Québec

SPOT alumna and past Edith Aston-McCrimmon Lecturer (2013), Dr. Carol Richards, wasrecently given the ‘highest distinction awarded by the government of Québec’ by being named to theOrdre National du Québec. This June, Dr. Richards was one of 33 individuals named by PremierPhilippe Couillard to one of three ranks of the National order, with a ceremony held at the LegislativeCouncil Chamber of the Parliament Building. Dr. Richards was recognized as a `Chevalière` for herinternationally acclaimed expertise as a physiotherapist and researcher in the assessment and treatmentof locomotor problems affecting individuals with neurological and musculoskeletal impairments.
