DISE's Jayne Malenfant speaks to CBC's Michael Enright: "Why are so many young Canadians homeless?"

CBC Television 2009.svgJayne Malenfant, PhD student with our Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), was a recent guest with CBC's Michael Enright, host of Sunday Edition. The episode, titled "Why are so many young Canadians homeless, and what should be done about it?", aired on Sunday, May 27th. The topic is related to Jayne's doctoral research with DISE.

Enright's guests also included Bruce Rivers, Executive Director of Covenant House in Toronto, Canada's largest shelter for homeless youth; Melanie Redman, co-founder of A Way Home Canada, which re-imagines solutions to youth homelessness; and Mike Gawliuk, Director of Service Delivery & Program Innovation with the Canadian Mental Health Association in Kelowna, B.C.
