Yasser Riazalhosseini, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Human Genetics, and Head of Cancer Genomics at the Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Institute of Genomic Medicine and clinicians from McGill University Health Centre have received funding from the US Department of Defense (DoD) for nearly $2M to discover improved methods for risk assessment and therapeutic treatment to fight against clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), the most common subtype of kidney cancer.
