Congratulations to Dr. Alexandra Ketchum from the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies (IGSF) for winning the Prize for Emerging Researchers under the Principal’s Prize for Public Engagement through Media!

The jury were impressed by the creativity and variety of Dr. Ketchum's public engagement activities in addition to her dedicated teaching at the IGSF. Moreover, the jury highlighted the many podcasts she created for sharing and communicating her research, as well as her Disrupting Disruptions: Feminist and Accessible Publishing, Tech, and Communications Speaker and Workshop Series that featured 21 events in 2022 alone, developed in partnership with organizations such as the Archives gaies du Québec, Archives lesbiennes du Québec, and local bookstores.
