Congratulations to Award Winners, Dr. Bassam Khoury, ECP, and Dr. Lynn Butler-Kisber, DISE

Congratulations to Dr. Bassam Khoury of the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology, on receiving McGill Education’s 2022 Heather Reisman and Gerald Schwartz Award for Excellence in Teaching!

Dr. Khoury’s excellent track record of student research success, his commitment to student supervision, as well as his enthusiasm for education and mentorship were all factors that lead to him being this year’s award winner.

And congratulations to Dr. Lynn Butler-Kisber of the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, this year’s Distinguished Teaching Award recipient.

Dr. Butler-Kisber’s passion for teaching and her success in providing students with an engaging learning environment, both in-person and online were lauded by both students and colleagues. Her contributions to student life, supervision, and educational leadership are also to be commended. Dr. Butler-Kisber will receive her award onstage at McGill Education’s June 1st convocation ceremony.
