Celebrating International Day of Families

Published: 14 May 2021

May 15 is International Day of Families.

Families and New Technologies is the theme chosen by the United Nations for this year’s International Day of Families.

Prof. Adam Dubé, Director of the Technology, Learning & Cognition Lab at McGill's Faculty of Education, kindly shared three recordings from ECP's Effective Parenting Lecture Series that took place last fall.

Watch the 1 hour recordings:

Living Digitally (Time spent online)

Learning Digitally (Remote instruction and learning tools)

Playing Digitally (Addiction and benefits)

You can also browse a compilation of other family friendly activities, some of which are events happening on May 15 and others that are fun things to do year round! We wish you a happy International Day of Families and that you find a way to celebrate safely together.
