From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Appointment of Director, Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Dr. Cecile Rousseau has been nominated as the new Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP), effective March 1, 2024.

As Director of the Division of CAP, Dr. Rousseau will work in close collaboration with the Departmental academic leadership, clinical chiefs and Research Institute Directors to manage the oversight and academic activities of the division, including education and research.

Dr. Rousseau is a Tenured Professor in the department and a world-renowned leader in child and transcultural psychiatry. She has served as interim chair of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for nearly a year and has an excellent first-hand knowledge and track record in research and successfully leading numerous programs. Her contributions in the integration of cultural dimensions in international efforts of child and youth psychiatric nosology illustrate her international leadership in the field.
