From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Winter 2025 deadline for web withdrawing from the first half of multi-term courses...

Deadline for web withdrawing (grade of "W") from the first half of multi-term (D1/D2) courses that started in the Winter 2025 term and end in the Summer 2025 term (no refund for D1 course; fee refund with web drop of Summer D2 course) for Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Arts (including Social Work & Religious Studies), B.A.&Sc., Continuing Studies, Education, Engineering (including Architecture), Graduate Studies, Law, Management, Music, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Science.

Please note that students in non-consecutive multi-term courses (N1/N2 courses that started in the Winter, skip the Summer and are completed in the Fall term) may web withdraw (grade of "W") from the N1 course on Minerva until May 15, and after May 15 until Sept. 9 by contacting their faculty Student Affairs Office (no refund for N1 course; fee refund with web drop of Fall N2 course).

NOTE: No withdrawals from Education Intensive courses or from ensembles or practical instruction in Music. Education students should consult the following website (http://www.mcgill.ca/isa/) for add/drop dates for Student Teaching placements. Please be aware that Field Experience courses follow a different schedule for add/drop and withdrawals.

NOTE: Deadline for newly-admitted students beginning their graduate thesis program in a Summer Term of Residence to withdraw from the University, with fee refund (less deposit or $200 minimum charge).
