Teaching Brown Bag: March 31
Blended Teaching Showcase and Info-Session
In 2022 – 2023, the Blended Teaching and Learning Initiative at Desautels launched a pilot project, targeting seven courses in the Faculty for redesign to a blended modality (online and in-person components). We are now seeking to scale our project and include multiple instructors who want to integrate online components into their course(s). There is no project too small, so please contact katie.kotar [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Brown%20Bag%20March%2031) with any further inquiries.
Date: Friday, March 31
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 pm
Location: Armstrong Building, Room 155A
RSVP: Lunch will be served, so please register by March 24th
Please note this event is intended for Desautels instructors.
What’s in it for you?
- Submit your proposal and work with a professional course development team, including D2L (creators of myCourses).
- Obtain Faculty and TLS support, including additional TA/RA hours for next academic year (2023 – 2024).
- Refresh your course material and strategically integrate synchronous or asynchronous online components.
- Level up existing online content, such as video lectures.
At this event, we will showcase our seven new blended courses, provide information about the project, and current participants will be available for a Q&A period.
