We are pleased to announce that the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is continuing its recruiting efforts to offer opportunities to students as co-op placements, internships or simply as summer jobs for students who are not part of a co-op program.
Opportunities for Summer 2025 (May-August) are available on Canada.ca/CSISjobs. Interested students have until March 15th, 2024 to apply. Due to the length of the recruitment and security clearance (Top Secret) process, students apply online one year prior to their planned work terms. Terms can be for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months.

Although most positions are located in Ottawa, some are available elsewhere in Canada. Information on specific locations can be found on our postings.
Basic Requirement:
- Be a Canadian citizen.
- Have 10 year of verifiable background information.
- Full-time status at a recognized academic institution and registered as students at the time of their placement.

En raison de la longueur du processus de recrutement et de l’obtention d’une cote de sécurité (niveau très secret), les étudiants doivent postuler en ligne un an avant la date de début. Les périodes de travail peuvent durer 4, 8, 12 ou 16 mois.

Exigences de base :
- Être un citoyen canadien.
- Donner des informations vérifiables sur les dix dernières années.
- Posséder un statut étudiant à temps plein dans une institution académique reconnue durant la période d’emploi.
