"Selling" yourself in interviews is a skill that doesn't come naturally to most people. Like many skills, however, you can hone it with practice. If you are looking to transfer your skills to a career outside of academia, join this interactive workshop to practice communicating your value as a skilled professional.

- Identify transferrable skills employers want (e.g., problem-solving skills, teamwork skills, communication skills)
- Practice the STAR method to map out compelling answers to skills-focused behavioural interview questions
- Practice answering behavioural interview questions (e.g. "tell me about a time when...") for roles where you have the right skills but lack industry experience
