Physiology Seminar: Dr. Houman Savoji "Engineering of the Heart: Engineered Valves and Heart-on-a-Chip Models to Probe Cardiac Function and Disease”

Dr. Houman Savoji is an Associate Professor of Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal and Principal Investigator at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center, where he holds the TransMedTech Chair in 3D Bioprinting and Regenerative Medicine. He previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Montreal. His research program focuses on developing physiologically relevant, human tissue–based experimental systems to study function, disease mechanisms, and therapeutic responses.
