Isabel Fernandez-Mateo, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, London Business School
Professor Fernandez-Mateo's research is in the field of Economic Sociology. She is interested in the mechanisms by which relationships allow individuals to create and capture value in the labor market. Much of her work has studied how executive search firms shape individual careers, particularly in hiring processes and job transitions. Several of her current projects focus on understanding the organizational and social barriers that prevent women’s access to top management positions.
