Presenter Nathalie Rodrigue--Nurse, M. Sc., DESS Pub. Adm. Clinical Nurse Specialist – Traumatology--will be presenting her article: 

Experiences of Older Adult Trauma Patients Discharged Home from a Level I Trauma Centre

Nathalie Rodrigue is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at McGill University Health Centre – Montreal General Hospital – Trauma Program. She is the recipient of the MUHC Eureka! Nursing Research Fellowship, funded by the Newton and MGH Foundations to describe the experiences of older trauma patients discharged home. Results of this study and concerns from the clinical milieu enabled the development and the implementation of a knowledge transfer project funded by the Institut national d’exellence en santé et services sociaux (INESSS): Knowledge Transfer: Implementation of a clinical intervention guide to optimize and harmonize trauma care for patients with rib fractures in ED. She also participated in publications of “Best Practice Implementation Support Tool”
