Title: Stationary solutions for stochastic Burgers equation and infinite-volume polymer measures

Abstract: In this talk we will discuss ergodic properties of the 1D viscous Burgers equation driven by a space-time homogeneous noise. We will construct and classify all its stationary solutions, and prove a One—Force—One—Solution principle for the equation. The inviscid limit of these stationary solutions is also studied. Via the Feynman—Kac formula, these solutions are closely related to the infinite-volume limits of a directed polymer model. Some open problems and the relation to the KPZ universality will be discussed at the end. This is joint work with Yuri Bakhtin (NYU).
